When I saw this pair of ALL BLACK - Women’s 3NY-43 Patent Mary Jean Wedges at Endless.com, I couldn’t pass it up. I’d been hoping to find a patent mary jane wedge for a while and I really like the scalloped detailing inspired by the spectator wingtip style. ALL BLACK refers to the brand name, not just the color. Don’t worry, this company does make other colors besides black. I can’t tell if the “Mary Jean” has transposed letters on purpose. Mary Jean sounds cool, too.

I wore these yesterday to work with a pair of black pants with a mint green blazer. Boy was that a mistake. Not the outfit, but the ten hour day of walking, standing, and thank god, some sitting. OUCH, my pinky toes bore the brunt of the pain. These are spectacular shoes for a short-term event like a party, a gathering with friends, family, a date, whatever, just not for such a long work day (btw, mine was combined with running errands so it was longer than the average work day). Despite a minor gripe about the fit, I would still recommend them.
