There was a mixed bag of signals coming out of the shoe jungle here. We recently polled readers about whether or not animal skin type prints on shoes brought out their wild side. Out of 37 respondents, 20 percent were into the skin thing whether or not they were
real or not, while 40 percent thought that faux skin would be the way to go.

Only 8 percent were totally against any sort of animal print of any kind, though another full 27 percent felt strongly enough to think of calling up PETA. Hey, we’re just the shoe messengers - put down that phone please…
