These bowling shoes carry the popular Brunswick brand name. But they were interesting because they don’t look like the typical bowling shoe to me. The Brunswick Bowling Shadow looks like a tennis shoe that Vans might put out, but it has the standard smooth sole necessary for throwing those strikes and picking up spares. The slide pads on the bottom of the shoe are actually a non-marking microfiber. The rest of the shoe is synthetic nubuck with a foam padded collar. Just be prepared for bowling lane owners to come up to you and ask you to remove your “street shoes”, since they look so unlike standard bowling shoes.
