‘Cars’ Sneakers for Toddlers

carsMy 2-year old nephew has these car-shaped sneakers from Payless.com. They are tied-in to the new © Disney/Pixar animated movie ‘Cars.’ He loves them! He skirts and skids around hoping that the wheels will actually turn. They don’t but he looks pretty cute trying. cars_soleEvery part is manmade and the car is fully loaded with the Quick On/Quick Off™ adjustable strap for a snug fit, a flexible and lightweight sole, and a padded footbed and collar for comfort. CD/mp3 player, airbags, and floor mats are optional equipment. The bottom of the shoe even looks like the bottom of a real car, with an axle and everything. I have to say that this might be the only Disney tie-in merchandise in recent years that I’ve liked.
