I bought the Clarks England Twill Sandals in red from Amazon.com recently. When they arrived, it was love at first sight. Even though they were a little long and a little wide for my feet, I decided to keep them. Why would I do such a thing?

Sometimes you have to make concessions and accept imperfections. That’s just a universal truth about life and shoes. Rather than returning the sandals and running the risk of the next smallest size selling out and not having the shoe at all, I decided that these sandals with the very comfortable, cushiony footbed and striped raffia-covered wedge heel were worth the trade off. It’s the little details that I appreciate, such as the cute swirly designs on the edges of the footbed and on the sole. These special sandals are part of the Clarks “Artisan Collection.” I wear them quite often despite not fitting very well. That’s saying a lot about their quality and comfort.
