Clarks England Wallabee
The classic Wallabee by Clarks England was born in 1965 and is considered the world’s first comfort shoe. With tons of comfort features such as the nature-formed last that allows for one’s toes to spread out naturally, a genuine plantation crepe cushioned outsole, a removable EVA footbed with leather sockliner, suede and leather uppers, and a roomy toe portion, these are the perfect shoes to wear on Australian outback trails, or anywhere, everyday!
Speaking of the outback, an actual live wallaby hopped through my workplace (a public library) a few years ago. It had escaped from the library auditorium during a live animal program geared toward children. It made its way from the auditorium, past the circulation desk, and to the reference desk before being corraled back into the auditorium. It was altogether charming and I will remember the wallaby forever.

Ah, the wallaby! And the wallabee! I wore those all the time when I was in Jr. High. I need to own these again, I think.
