Just for kicks, I went to Zappos.com to look for the most expensive pair of women’s shoes sold there. I assumed the most expensive ones would appear in the designer collection section, and I was right. The Donna Karan - 864996 Boots are what I found at the top of the heap, priced at $2053.95. That’s reasonable, right? Ha ha, not on my salary! Although I could never afford these, it’s interesting to know which brand and style are valued this much.
I wonder how much the unusual metallic embellishments and the metallic heels cost in the manufacturing process. A lot, I’ll bet. The upper is not even leather, but velvet. It’s not a total rip-off, though, because at least the sole is made of leather. This must be the sort of thing millionaires drop their hard-earned cash on. Donna Karan has her niche market. You certainly pay for the label.

I don’t think these boots are worth $100! You are right,the name is what we pay for. I have found shoes for $20.00 that look like I paid much,much more for them. In fact,I have a pair of knee boots I paid exactly $5.00 for on clearance and baby they look good! I love finding bargains. I will look and look until I find something cheap and in good condition and looks great on me,whether it be clothes,jewelry or especially shoes. Oh,and let’s not forget purses!

WOW! THOSE ARE REALLY HOT! AS FOR THE PRICE. FOR DONNA KAREN $100 ISN’T ALL THAT EXPENSIVE. WHEN I’VE SEEN BOOTS FOR $300 AND UP.
