I am a new believer in ECCO shoes now that I have tried the ECCO - Aruba Slingback, a very comfortable pair of wedge slingback sandals. It’s clear that real ingenuity went into the design of these seemingly simple-looking sandals. The 2-and-1/2 inch stacked wedge heel height is perfect and it doesn’t force my foot into an unnatural place. Every part of these stylish wedge sandals is designed for comfort — the leather lining, leather sock lining, rubber sole, and smooth patent leather upper — and made with quality materials. Some other wedge heels feel heavy and rigid, but the ECCO Aruba is delightfully light and flexible.

Forgive my proselytizing, but I can’t praise these shoes enough. I wore them brand new to work for nine hours (plenty of walking and standing) without a complaint. “Breaking in” was not required. Be aware that ECCO shoes come in European sizes and run a little large.
