Designed as a safety device for gals who like to take matters into their own hands, the Electric Cinderella Shoe looks pretty normal on first glance.

However, there is a matching necklace that comes with it that serves as fair warning of the potential ready to come sizzling out of your shoe. When the necklace is triggered, it will ignite a spark in the toe of the shoe which might give pause to a would-be attacker. But if that fails, you can always stamp your feet. Or rather, smash your toe. Breaking the glass toe on this prototype shoe will unleash a whopping 100,000 volt jolt of electricity.

Brings new meanings to the album Electric Ladyland… the only downside I can see is that this stun-gun only has one shot. Once you break the toe, you’ve gotta get a foot massage, er, recharge.
