Englishman Drowns Trying to Rescue Girlfriend’s Shoes

Here’s a sad story. Last month a young man died tragically in East Yorkshire, in northern England, trying to rescue his girlfriend’s shoes. Intoxicated, he jumped into the river Ouse to retrieve her shoes, and drowned. He was only 21. May this shoe devotee rest in peace.

    that’s so sad! “intoxicated” and swimming do not mix…
