Shoes and bags go hand in hand, so it was inevitable that I’d be writing about handbags here at Shoe-n-Tell. It used to be a woman couldn’t go out in public if her bag didn’t match her shoes. My friend Christeen introduced me to this sumptuously luxurious brand called Furla and I’ve been sort of obsessed with possessing a Furla bag ever since. Furla is an Italian maker of handbags (and shoes) of uncompromising quality and style, evident here in the “Dharla” shopper bag, made of calf leather. Made in Italy, too.

Every month my dilemma is: Rent or Furla bag? Rent has won out every time, but a girl can still dream. By the way, there is a Furla outlet store at the Cabazon (California) outlet mall. If only I were rich like Jessica Simpson, who has been seen clutching the very classy Furla “Greta” bag. *Sigh.*
