I have to admit, it’s nice to be able to say, “I own a pair of Isaac Mizrahi shoes.”

Who would’ve thought that I, a Converse-wearing, thrift-store/flea-market hopping kind of girl, would actually own a pair of chic Isaac Mizrahi shoes? Well, I didn’t spend a whole lot of money, as these adorable Erica bow slides are from Target. Where else can you find toilet paper, cat food and designer shoes all in one place? Isaac Mizrahi is one of the latest top-notch designers to collaborate with Target to bring beautifully-designed merchandise to the masses.

These shoes caught my eye because I’m a total sucker for shoes with cute bows on them. These slides look very versatile in design. With the leather trim, leather bow and a sexy low kitten heel, I can see them being both dressy and casual. Most people won’t notice this, but I love the scallop-edged detailing at the sole. What a nice detail! And at the price of $21.99, who could pass them up?

I wore them to a brunch with friends and got nice compliments! The weaved raffia upper was very cool and comfortable on a warm day, and the low 2.25″ heel was definitely manageable. I also wore them to run a few errands after, and was able to walk in them without too much problem. They did start to bother my toes a bit because I’m not used to wearing dressy sandals, but hopefully I will be able to break them in before I have to go to a wedding in a few weeks!
