I love these Jeffrey Campbell - Women’s Swirl slingback wedges. When I first received them in the mail, I squealed with delight at the shoe box that looks like a giant “Hello My Name is Jeffrey Campbell” name tag. I don’t know what possessed me to buy a pair of silver shoes, I really don’t have anything that matches. Perhaps it was the urging of my coworker who said I could wear them with anything! Metallics are so trendy and I have so few occasions to wear them. But I’m a sucker for vintage-inspired wedge heels. Well, I wore my Jeffrey Campbells for the first time to an outdoor autumn party on Saturday night. I wore them with a red dress and black coat and a mismatched bag and it was fine. I put my purse in the hostess’ bedroom so it was not a problem. Nobody saw that I did not bring a silver purse.

The leather uppers are very soft and pliable, so much that they kind of accentuate the lumpy, bumpy knuckle joints on my toes, which isn’t very attractive. These are pretty comfortable shoes, though. For a touch of glamour or just for sitting by the fire, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Jeffrey Campbell - Women’s Swirl Slingback Wedges with rounded peep toe and cushioned insole.
