I happened to be flipping through a music magazine lately and there was a huge advertisement for Lacoste shoes. Remember those funny little Izod Lacoste shirts from the 70s and early 80s? This brought back some good memories of the little embroidered crocodile that everyone just had to have.

I know that Lacoste actually makes a ton of different shoes with their trademark little crocodile logo on them, but this particular blue “Canvas Croc” was sort of cool because the crocodile is painted on the shoe instead, and it’s quite big actually. These shoes are your standard garden variety Keds/Vans but I just thought the reptilian focus made all the difference. They’ve got them in several different colors too, including black, white, cream and this blue color for guys, and for gals they’ve got Pool/Encore (Green and Blue), Ash/Nelly (gray and fuchsia), Winter White/Brazier (white and orange).
