Maybe the tagline of this review should have been - “Because girls just wanna mow lawns.” All jesting aside, this company sells shoes that are specially designed for lawn-care activities. They’re meant to provide extra protection and insulation for outdoor work like landscaping and mowing while remaining comfortable enough to wear for long periods of time.

I’m sure the neighbors will be mighty disappointed if you wear these Lawn Grips instead of your pink stiletto heels while doing a little Sunday mowing, but then I don’t see them getting off the couch to help. Their shoes are supposed to be extra resistant to mud and grass clippings. They have several different styles for both men and women - they sort of remind me of construction or hiking shoes plus aquatic clog-shoes like Crocs.

Shown at left is the Women’s PRO 6″ high lace-up. It has a steel toe with a rubber covering to resist scuffing along with stain-resistant leather and a patented “Grip-N-Go” bottom for handling wet, grassy environments.
