Mia ‘Hepburn’ Flats
Fashion trends seem to cycle back every twenty years or so. Back in the mid-1980s, Mia made the pointed leather flats that every girl wanted. My Spanish teacher at that time said all the girls were wearing pointed flats when she was in high school in the 1960s. Like clockwork, it looks as if pointy flats have returned in the form of the Mia ‘Hepburn.’ The Mia flats I had in the 80s seemed better made with wooden heels and leather soles. This new Mia, shown here in white, will look great all summer, but only until Labor Day, when white shoes become outlawed, that is, if you subscribe to the stuffy, established fashion rules. Keep in mind these rules also say to wear nylons with open-toed sandals…
Also comes in black leather, brown leather, and bronze patent.

SUCH A COMFORTABLE shoe! I love them! I want more. I have only tried the leather ones, I have a feeling the patent ones will not stretch as well, but as soon as I find me a pair, I want to try them.
