Lately, I’ve been looking around for more potential athletic shoes, specifically ones that I might be able to use for normal walking around the neighborhood. These New Balance MW791 kicks were always on the radar. Maybe now more so, because I saw Consumer Reports had a feature on walking shoes and these scored high for their flexible soles that allow your feet to roll easily from the heel to toe.

There’s all kinds of fancy names embedded in this shoe including “ABZORB” shock absorbers in the front and heel area,”Stability Web” support in the middle range of the sole and “Walking Strike Path” on the outsole to stablize your foot. Consumer reports also dug the reflective parts of the shoe for night walking and the fact that the soles are removable if they need to be cleaned or replaced.
