Nina Wharton Ballet Flats
We seem to be on a “flats” kick lately for some reason. Not sure if that has anything to do with it being Spring. I saw these great skimmers from Nina the other day on Solestruck. These are the Nina Wharton Floral Skimmers and I liked the bright and colorful retro floral pattern they feature that sort of harkens back to prints from the 70s. In fact, I think I remember having pillowcases that had these same orange, yellow and green flowers on them, although the background was white instead of light yellow.
A cute green bow completes this skimmer which seems pretty versatile as far as outfit matching goes. But just in case you need a different color, they also make it in a colorful light pink with blue, purple, red and yellow flowers.
A note for those who want some shoe terminology: Skimmers are also known as ballet or ballerina flats which were originally inspired by ballerina slippers. They feature a flat heel and are usually quite open at the top, exposing most of your feet. There are some that are open-toe, but the standard variety is usually closed.
Nina Wharton is available at Solestruck.

i have this fabric!!! it’s called Buds and Blossoms and it’s made by Robert Kaufman. The yellow colorway has been discontinued, I wonder if it’s because of these shoes!
