Flashback to the early 1990s and smash your head on the punk rock in a sturdy pair of Dr. Martens - Men’s Griffin Ankle Boots in the dark brown shown here. I am on a roll with boots today and the third time is a charm! I wish these came in women’s sizes. I really like the padded cushioning around the ankles as my ankles need extra support lately, since my sprain. Of course, Dr. Martens boots have the signature treaded rubber soles that provide excellent traction on any surface. Try it on a slick surface and see what happens.
Make a bold statement in these purple Nine West - Women’s Markeson Booties, the style that is all over the map this fall. Available in a few different colors in either a leather or suede upper, it also has a 3-3/4-inch heel with an approximate 3/4-inch platform.
Thanks to Linda for introducing the New York City Miz Mooz brand to me. Here is a cool pair of boots for the fall, the Miz Mooz Women’s Blitz Lace Boots, made of a leather upper and a rubber sole, with a 1-1/4-inch heel. This pair’s most stylish features are the eye-catching, shiny leather upper and the lace-up front that goes up the entire length of the wearer’s leg. The lacing is described as leg-lengthening. Wow, what a miracle…better than any tonic or snake oil. I’d like to see if they make my legs look longer. The rounded toe makes this pair of boots just adorable with all your knee-length autumn skirts.
I neglected to post up the previous poll results for the Giuseppe Zanotti E80173 shoe. The next poll is already up to your right - and it’s a doozy.
At the end of the summer, I am sometimes lucky enough to find good deals on sandals and this month was no exception. Maybe it’s not so much luck as it is serendipity because I really wasn’t planning to buy any more shoes for a long while (but it’s hard to pass up a good deal). Anyway, I bought these Charles by Charles David Women’s Salsa Sandals recently and they’re pretty, delicate slide sandals with a comfortable elasticized upper. I don’t believe the soles are leather, as stated in the Endless description. Slip on, slip off. Easy as sin. I’ll probably wear them to Morrison’s party tomorrow. I just need to make sure my toenails look decent.
I think I bought these Ramon Tenza Women’s Fern Pumps about two years ago. I was waiting for a special opportunity to wear them as I never wanted to subject them to daily use. I mean, look at the beautiful suede upper, charming suede-covered buckle, and vintage-look platform, it was my duty to preserve them. Mine are black suede, by the way. Life is too short to let the Ramon Tenza - Fern Pumps waste away in their box, so I was eager to wear them to the
Shoebuy is running a special where you can get $5 off when you purchase $30 or more of stuff online from them. The key is that you have to pay with Google Checkout. They’ve done promotions like this in the past (one with Paypal if I remember correctly). I’m not sure just how many people use Google Checkout nowadays, but if you do this coupon might be for you.
