Luichiny - Women’s Dipti Skimmer
This is the pair I was expecting, but delivery was delayed, from Endless.com that was referenced in my 8/21/07 post, the Luichiny - Women’s Dipti Skimmer. Gosh, that was almost a year ago. Sorry for being so slow with my review.
I love them and I hate them. I love them because they’re really cute pointy leather skimmers, they’re red, and they rock. The heart imprint on the sole is to die for. I hate them because they don’t fit well, but I couldn’t bear to return them. I put some padding at the heel and they’d still slip off. So, I’ve tied my Muleos to these and they stay on my feet, at least. Yay, Muleos! Even though I don’t wear these very often, I keep them on my bedroom floor, so I look at them everyday. ![]()

Kenneth Cole Reaction - Women’s Sun Tea Sandals
A t-strap wedge sandal in red? I am California Dreamin’… and you will be too in these Kenneth Cole Reaction - Women’s Sun Tea Sandals. They should coyly complement your casual bermuda shorts or sundress this summer. Get out there in these cute sandals and enjoy the sunshine, but don’t forget to apply sunscreen. I think I saw one sunscreen with SPF 85. Shown here in Lipstick. Also available in Black, from Shoes.com.
J. Renee - Women’s Miriam Sandals
Here is an interesting pair of slip-on sandals I found. The J. Renee — Miriam Sandals caught my eye because of the unusual heels. They remind me of the curvy legs found on some furniture. Wow, crystal clear vinyl with floral splashes of more vinyl — these sandals are just begging to be posted here at Shoe-n-Tell.com. What do you think? Are they Beverly Hills housewife or Beverly Hills adjacent? Neither? Chinatown throwaways? We’re open to a lively discussion here.
Shown here in black. Also available in cork. From Shoes.com.
Naughty Monkey Sugar Pop
Naughty Monkey is well-known for toeing the line between sweetly sassy and outrageously over-the-top. Their Sugar Pop summer sandal might be a good example of that. While certainly fun and floral (it also comes in bright blue and yellow/green), it might bring a certain “fruit salad” look to your feet. But this is fine if you’re looking for that playful fling and can pull off wearing this shoe. As if the colors and pattern wasn’t enough, it features a toe bow and a wooden stacked heel for extra oomph.

Columbia Sportswear Men’s Beartooth S8 Trail Shoe
Tell your father to take a hike this Father’s Day in the lightweight Columbia Sportswear Men’s Beartooth S8 Trail Shoe. He will be ready for the long, happy trails ahead in this rugged but comfortable pair of Columbias, featuring an “XTS forefoot plate and nylon shank” that will protect his foot from fatigue and impact, and super performance traction from the “non-marking Omni-Grip Rubber compound outsole.”

Seychelles - Women’s Share the Wealth
Seychelles is a classy brand. I recently got these Seychelles - Women’s Share the Wealth flats in burgundy leather and they were delivered in a “drawer”-style box with a rope handle. Inside the box, the shoes were in a brown bag (not exactly fabric, but made of the same material as my reusable grocery bag, so maybe it was recycled material?).
I was really enamored of the pinked edges, the perforated vamp, and the silk-like brocade fabric (similar to a Chinese blouse) liner. The comfortable, generously cushioned sueded insole didn’t hurt the whole package either. But ultimately, I had to return these flats because they looked like boats on me. They were too long, like a pair of 40-foot yachts on my feet. Sadly, there was no smaller size available to make an exchange.
You might have better luck with them. From Shoes.com, available in burgundy, black and olive (shown here).
