Although Donald J. Pliner won the top prize at the Shoes.com 2006 Shoe Awards, he didn’t fare too well in Shoe-n-Tell’s first shoe poll. We featured the Donald J. Pliner Juno mule in rose/gold in our sidebar column for the past month and asked our readers how they liked it.

28% of our respondents liked the floral detail on this quality Italian-made shoe, 56% were less than dazzled by the metallic alligator print and antique leather of the upper, and 16% didn’t care either way about its cowgirl chic appeal, but cared enough to vote anyway.
