Rabid Bat Bites Boy in Bakersfield Shoe Store

Here’s a bizarre news item from Bakersfield, California. A rabid bat bit a 6-year old boy inside a Payless Shoe Store in Bakersfield. Apparently, the bat crawled out from underneath a shoe rack and bit the little boy’s foot. It was not reported whether his foot was bare or not. He is currently undergoing treatments of antibodies and booster shots and will be all right. Maybe next time he will shop online.
