I caught these colorful and playful cork wedges from Rafe in the latest issue of Lucky under an outfit column labeled “Weekend Chic”. Apparently the look that they’re going for is relaxed enough to be lounging around the house in, but still wearable in case unexpected guests pop over to say hi…

These “Jessica” platform wedges feature colorful canvas printed with garden designs along with cognac colored leather straps and flower cutouts to hold everything together. It’s kind of cool that the toes feature printed pink birds while the rest of the shoe has blue pink and cream colored flowers. Looks like the entire rest of the shoe is pretty much made of good old cork.

The shoe also comes in other varieties (black or white leather straps). I searched for them online but you apparently have to get these direct from the Rafe Store (877-7-RAFENY). They cost quite a pretty penny too, at about $350!
