Ok, so maybe this shoe isn’t rocket science. It’s a simple Dockers style deck shoe called the “Windward” made by Rockport, but I like it anyway because it’s uncomplicated. They call these “Moc Toe” shoes, I guess due to the stitching on the front. You could probably get these type of shoes cheaper, but the reason I was interested in them is that Rockport is supposed to be pretty good at providing comfort and cushioning in the sole. The rubber outsole is also supposed to give you better grip than some other deck shoes.

They come in other colors like Brandy and Mahogany Nubuck, but I only was partial to the one in Dark Brown in full-grain leather.
