Only slightly better than my own paper shoes are these surgical booties. One size fits all and also made of paper (and elastic). These fabulous hospital issued surgical booties may be worn alone or over your own shoes! They serve two purposes: 1) to protect sterile environments like operating rooms, by keeping germs and dirt from your feet or shoes enclosed 2) to protect the wearer from blood and other scary bodily fluids. I spent the night with my sister in her hospital room when she gave birth to her son (the one who wears the Cars sneakers now), and that’s where I took this picture.
