via_spiga_kissAs we Southern Californians are suffering through triple digit temperatures this Labor Day weekend, you can understand how sandals, like the Via Spiga - Kiss, still appeal to me. Cooler autumn breezes are nowhere on the horizon, so I might as well enjoy these three - and - a - half inch wedge-heeled espadrilles with 100% leather uppers. I really like the quarter-strap and adjustable buckle. The quarter-strap is a critical feature because I don’t like having my heels visible and also my feet tend to slip out of non-strapped / non-buckled shoes. Really great with a casual sundress.

    I’m glad to see the espadrilles still around. They really do look great with a sundress. The leather uppers make this pair special. Don’t get rid of them just because the weather is getting cooler. Espadrilles never really go away; they just wait until that perfet dress shows up and then just pop back up like real fashion classics always do.
