Xinyi Mary Janes for Baby
My cute and stylish little friend Erin Cassidy likes to wear these white mary janes with khaki pants and her “Beatles” t-shirt. They are made by Chinese brand Xinyi and feature a pink butterfly accent and a Velcro® strap closure. Her parents bought these shoes in China for about $3. What a bargain! The best, or the worst, part of these mary janes, depending on how you feel about babies and noise, is the squeezy thing in the heel that squeaks with every step she takes. She was sleeping when I took this picture but when she woke up, she gave me the following ratings on these shoes…

OMG, those squeaky shoes drive me NUTS!!! but i guess it’s a good way of knowing where your kids are, the way they run around all over the place and such…

Those are so sweet! Sometimes toddlers come into the library with squeeker shoes. Some people, who shall remain nameless, get irritated. I think they are cutie pie.

You can actually remove the squeaker with the tip of a pen. That way the shoes won’t drive you nuts!

My baby’s chinese name is XinYi. I bought these shoes in China this fall when we were there to adopt her. I bought them now knowing they were the XinYi brand until we were at the White Swan taking pictures on the red couch and I noticed. What a coincidence.

Those shoes are so cute! They can get a little annoying after awhile, but its worth it! I watch a two year old who has a pair and she loves to run around listening to them as she goes. I want a pair in my size even!
